This Labor Day, I ask that you take a moment and think about all the exceptional work each of you and your fellow members have done this past year. Despite challenging weather, material shortages, and numerous national health concerns, members of the Central South, Florida, Southeastern, and Southern States Millwright Regional Councils have not missed a beat in productivity.
I also congratulate you for your ongoing dedication, your loyalty, and your activism in your home locals. Being a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters is a rewarding career, but make no mistake, it takes practice, patience, and determination to excel. For more than 140 years, the UBC has been on the forefront of improving the working conditions and quality of life for the American worker. It is because of the determination and pride that you each exemplify, that we continue to lead the way in innovation, productivity, and safety.
I hope you have a safe, relaxing Labor Day holiday. Thank you, again, for your hard work.
Yours in solidarity,
