Two Southern District Members are the Latest Graduates of the UBC's Renowned Superintendent Career Training Program

Congratulations to UBC Southern District brothers Denton Brantley, Jr. and Brandon Williams for successfully completing the UBC’s Superintendent Career Training program.

Brantley represents Local 256 of the Southeastern Carpenters Regional Council.  Williams is from of Florida Carpenters Regional Council Local 702. The men were both sponsored by MJ Wood, a full-service general and mechanical contractor that serves the Southeastern United States.

The UBC’s Superintendent Career Training is an 18-month classroom and on-the-job program that prepares participants to be highly skilled construction industry professionals. Using mentors, company-sponsored learning opportunities, and expert instruction by industry-experienced professors of well-known universities, graduates of this program are equipped to oversee and manage productive work sites that keep projects on time and within budget.

“These two gentlemen exemplify the unique combination of possessing high-level skills and while also providing jobsite leadership. Congratulations, also, to contractor MJ Wood for teaming with Denton and Brandon to sponsor and mentor their superintendent career training,” said Dennis Donahou, Vice President, UBC Southern District.
